Arminus is a white Royal Avenger son, Carnicular is a medium fawn 6Peruvian Romantico son, Black Angus is a black Sr. Herdsire of the Year, Lancaster son, Brannigan is sa Dark Brown Captain Nemo son, and Nube is a white Caligula grandson. We are excited to get their cria on the ground and see what they can produce. The color assortment of our males should give us a great boost in reaching our goal.
Currently, we have 3 young yearling males; Ruger, a light rose gray; Remmington, a dark brown; and Whitaker, a white.
Intact males should normally be penned according to age, size, and disposition. Their behavior should be monitored to guard against excessive fighting. Males over eight months of age should be separated from females to prevent unwanted pregnacies. Males should not be used for breeding until after two years of age.
Examine the "fighting" teeth of group-housed males at least once per year and trim when needed to prevent injury to another.
